  • $74,303 - $79,054 per annum plus superannuation (dependent on experience)

About the role

We are seeking an Administration Officer to join the Business Support team working with the Compliance and Amenity Department. Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, your role is to:

  • Be an integral part of the Compliance and Amenity Department with the primary function to ensure a customer centric service is provided to all community members and staff within the Organisation
  • Ensure accurate and timely coordination of information into and out of the department, as the position works with employees at all levels across Council
  • Provide administrative support to the department as a whole, including word processing, filing and maintenance of records, processing registrations and renewals, issuing of permits, bookings and distribution of correspondence to the department
  • Input accurate records of customer service requests electronically using the Council database system (currently Pathway) - this includes the allocation of requests to areas and in urgent/emergency cases, direct to an area Officer for immediate action
  • Maintain accurate electronic records using the Council's records management system (currently HPE Content Manager)
Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • Background or qualification in administration
  • Experience using a customer relationship management system; use of Pathway and Content Management would be desirable
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
