TPF Recruitment are supporting an excellentchartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their experienced team across a generalaccounts and tax position.

As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will reportdirectly into the Directors and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio madeup of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in anamazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have theopportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. This is a greatposition with an excellent practice with a modern culture who promote a great worklife balance. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.

You will be responsible for:

• Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership andpersonal tax returns.
  
• Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
  
• Managing your client portfolio and client relations.
  
• Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
  
• Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.
  

• You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
  
• You will have worked as a Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.
  
• £55,000 - £65,000, based on experience
