Job Title: Account ManagerLocation: SkiptonHybrid: 2 days from home, 3 days from the officeSalary: £30,000 - £42,000 including company bonus scheme We're delighted to be supporting one of our valued clients in the search for an experienced and service driven Account Manager to join their growing and dedicated specialist service team. We are looking for someone that is passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes, managing complex client relationships and helping colleagues succeed.The Role: This is an opportunity to become a specialist within a collaborative organisation that values expertise, ownership and continuous improvement. You'll take responsibility for high value and complex customer accounts, act as an escalation point for colleagues and play a key role in improving service delivery, processes and customer experience across the wider team. Alongside relationship management, you'll contribute to new business conversations, support retention and help shape service strategy through specialist industry knowledge. The role offers scope to deepen technical knowledge, influence decision making and develop into a recognised subject matter expert within the business.Key Responsibilities as Account Manager
- Lead contact for high value and complex customer accounts
- Manage ongoing service delivery, renewals and day to day client requirements
- Act as escalation point for sensitive or complex client matters
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally
- Support retention, growth and upsell opportunities
- Identify risks and opportunities across the customer base
- Contribute to long term account strategy and customer success planning
- Guide other team members on priorities, workload and best practice
- Ensure consistent delivery standards across the service
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting data
- Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to service development and policy updates
- Provide data and insight for reporting and decision making
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- A calm and structured approach to problem solving
- Ability to prioritise multiple deadlines effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
- Strong Excel/ CRM capability
- Background in regulated, technical or service led environments beneficial
- Competitive salary of £30,000 basic, plus rewarding company bonus with realistic total earnings of £42,000 per annum.
