Account Manager - Candidate Resourcing Specialist Construction & Civil Engineering US Market
Location: Altrincham, Manchester (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 12pm-8pm (flexible) Friday, 5 hours WFH

Are you a highly motivated recruitment professional with a sharp eye for talent and a deep understanding of what makes a candidate truly match a brief?
We're looking for an Account Manager with a strong background in candidate resourcing to join our growing team in Altrincham. You'll be working hand-in-hand with a dedicated Client Solutions Manager who will handle vacancy acquisition and client-side interview management - your focus will be on sourcing, qualifying, and delivering top-tier candidates into the pipeline.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Sourcing high-calibre candidates across the US construction and civil engineering market using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, advertising and proactive headhunting.
- Qualifying candidates against detailed job specifications provided by the Client Solutions Manager - understanding both the technical and cultural fit.
- Managing your pipeline effectively to ensure a steady flow of pre-qualified, high-potential candidates.
- Maintaining clear, accurate candidate records and providing consistent communication throughout the process.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in recruitment/resourcing, ideally within a technical or construction-related field.
- A methodical approach to candidate qualification, with the ability to interpret complex job specs and match accordingly.
- Strong sourcing skills and comfort working with various tools and platforms to uncover hidden talent.
- Collaborative mindset - you'll be part of a two-person delivery team and communication is key.
- Understanding of the US construction/civil engineering industry is highly desirable (but not essential if you're a fast learner!).
