Definition Technologies is building the largest 3D printing factory in Europe, located in Eindhoven. We officially began our journey 2 years ago with our custom high-speed 3D printers. Our business model focuses exclusively on contract manufacturing, allowing us to develop end-to-end production lines for our clients. This includes building machines, developing compounds, and advancing automation for lights-out manufacturing.

3D Printing engineer

As a 3D Printing engineer, your role is to bridge the gap between the initial design and the final 3D printing process. Your primary focus is to prove manufacturing methods through 3D printing by testing and developing materials, optimizing slicing strategies and ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to series production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare from slicing to finished parts to ensure continuous production of 100+ printers
• Refine print parameters to optimize speed, reduce weight and maintain quality
• Document best practices and standard procedures for consistent production
• Develop new materials for new clients and markets.

After gaining experience and knowledge over time, there are opportunities to grow into roles related to Lead WPE or Project Engineer.
