ResponsibilitiesAs the Legal & Innovation Intern, you will sit at the crossroads of Law and Digital Transformation, supporting two of our most dynamic divisions-LDB (L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty) and CPD (Consumer Products Division). Your mission is to provide high-level support on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters while acting as a pioneer in legal technology. You won't just be reviewing contracts; you will be an active contributor to how we integrate AI and new digital ways of working into the heart of our Legal team.
Division Support: Assisting the Legal Counsel for LDB and CPD on day-to-day commercial queries and advisory work.
Commercial Drafting: Helping to review and prepare a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring our brands are protected in a fast-paced market.
AI & Tech Exploration: Contributing to ongoing projects that explore how AI and legal-tech tools can automate processes and improve efficiency within the team.
Corporate Governance: Assisting with corporate matters and ensuring compliance across various business functions.
Regulatory Research: Researching emerging legal trends, particularly around digital law and data, to help the business navigate new "ways of working."
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate legal requirements into actionable business advice.
Project Documentation: Supporting the legal team in building knowledge-sharing databases and innovation dashboards.
Qualifications- Legal Rigor: A strong foundational understanding of contract and commercial law principles.
- Digital Curiosity: A keen interest in Legal-Tech and how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping professional services.
- Analytical Excellence: The ability to review complex information and identify key legal risks or opportunities for process improvement.
- Communication Skills: The confidence to engage with stakeholders at different levels and provide clear, concise legal summaries.
- Adaptability: The ability to work across different practice areas and divisions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Proactivity: A "self-starter" attitude with a desire to take ownership of both core legal tasks and innovation projects.
Returning to University is required; candidates who have already graduated are not eligible.
