Yr 8 Special Teacher

(Salary: In line with Main Pay Scale (MPS) - Temporary Cover or Permanent)

We are looking for a compassionate and dynamic Year 8 Teacher for our East Grinstead school. Your primary focus will be delivering primary education level instruction, including planning creative activities, providing pastoral care, and teaching foundational literacy and numeracy.

We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK.

Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:45 - 4, Wednesday from 8:45 - 4:30 and Friday from 8:45 - 3:30. On occasion you will be required to work additional hours to enable you to fulfil your role.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience working alongside and teaching Key Stage 3 pupils operating at below age expectancy.

A solid understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and digital literacy best practices.

Ability to provide your own transportation due to the school's remote location.

Eligibility to work in the UK.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check.

Term time working only, alongside 6 INSET days.
