Vision for Education works in partnership with a supportive and inclusive school in the Stroud area to recruit a dedicated Youth Worker Within Schools. This role is ideal for someone who wants to support pupils with additional needs while gaining valuable experience in an education setting.
About the Role - Youth Worker Within SchoolsAs a Youth Worker Within Schools, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour.
In this role, you will:
- Support pupils with communication, interaction, and emotional regulation
- Deliver tailored activities in a structured, nurturing environment
- Promote independence, life skills, and positive behaviour
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them thrive
This position is varied, hands on, and highly rewarding, giving you the chance to see the impact of your support every day.

- Is patient, resilient, and empathetic
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is adaptable and confident in a classroom environment
Backgrounds in youth work, care, coaching, or education are all highly relevant for this role.
