Year 3 Teacher - Preston

Hays Education is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging lessons, fostering a love of learning, and helping every child achieve their full potential.

Your new role

• Full-time Year 3 Teacher position
• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Contributing to the wider life of the school

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A commitment to raising standards and pupil achievement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching
