Year 2 Class Teacher

Desian Education is currently partnering with a school in Runcorn to recruit a year 2 teacher for a long-term teaching position starting in April 2026.

The role is initially for the summer term however could be extended into the 2026/27 academic year.

We are welcoming applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.

Your New Role:

You will be working a in a large single form entry primary school in Runcorn alongside an experience teaching and support team who work hard to create an environment where all children can achieve their goals.

As a year 2 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include:

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with experienced TA's and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in KS1
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
