Year 1 Teacher

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 teaching position?

Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a Year 1 class at a one-form-entry primary school in Stafford.

Our client is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to work on a full-time, long-term basis, starting in October 2026 and continuing until February 2027.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Plan, assess, and mark pupils' work in line with the school's policies.
• Deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with the Teaching Assistant and other class teachers to provide high-quality learning experiences.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

ECTs are encouraged to apply, as are experienced teachers. Our client has the capacity to support Early Career Teachers through their induction years.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:15am to 4:30pm.

To apply for this Primary Teaching role, you will need:

• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 through placements or previous employment.
• To hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• A strong reference from a recent school placement or employer.
