Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

This role is to maintain site standards of hygiene and cleanliness with managing the removal of all rubbish around site. This role does require a counter balance license.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 10:00am - 18:00pm, Tuesday to Saturday

Pay: £13.99 per hour

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain all areas outside the factory but within the site boundaries free from rubbish
  • Maintain the compactors and skips that they are always working correctly and free from build up around them plus filled when required
  • Smoke shelter is maintained to a high standard to be free of rubbish or cigarettes with the emptying of the bins as and when required.
  • Support raw materials as and when required by your team leader or manager.
  • Support stores and intake as and when required with FLT skills.
  • Highlight any food or people safety issues to your manager from around the site.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Must hold a current Counterbalance licence
  • To have basic written and spoken understanding of English
  • Ability to understand and undertake Food Safety Qualification.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and hours.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to Health and Safety requirements
