Description

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Yard Manager to lead our yard and feed store team. This is a hands on leadership role where you'll motivate colleagues, maintain high standards, and ensure the yard is safe, organised, and ready for customers. About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week

As Yard Manager, you'll play a key role in managing stock, leading the team, and driving commercial performance. You'll lead by example, create a positive and solution focused environment, and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximising yard and feed store sales and achieving margin expectations
  • Organising and overseeing goods inwards, stock rotation, and accurate processing of deliveries
  • Maintaining integrity of stock records and ensuring correct selling of items
  • Leading, motivating, and inspiring the yard and feed store team to achieve goals
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures
About You
  • At least 2 years' proven supervisory or management experience within a comparable role
  • Experience in manual handling and safe lifting practices
  • Experience in stock management and operational leadership
  • Forklift Truck licence (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible team player committed to success
