Y1 Class Teacher

Desian Education are delighted to be working with a large, welcoming primary school in Halewood to recruit a dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher for a long-term contract. The role is initially for the summer term, with the potential to be extended into the new academic year.

The school warmly welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers (MPS1) and experienced practitioners. You will be joining an experienced and supportive teaching and support team who are committed to creating a safe, engaging environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Your New Role:

As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will take on full teaching responsibilities, including:

• Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils' emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Working collaboratively with experienced Teaching Assistants and the wider school team to provide consistent support for all learners.
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
