We're looking for a hands on, proactive Workshop Supervisor to take charge of the daily running of our busy garage and keep operations running like clockwork.

Contract: Full time, Permanent
Shift Pattern & Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: £20.60 per hour

• Proven management or supervisory experience in a workshop or similar environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and compliance requirements.
• A proactive, detail oriented approach to problem solving.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Workshop Co ordinator, you'll be the go to person for managing the workshop and leading the team day to day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Running the workshop efficiently - planning workloads, prioritising tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Leading and motivating the team - providing guidance, approving holidays, and maintaining accurate records.
• Driving Health & Safety compliance - promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring standards are met.
• Managing trailer inspections and MOT processes - guaranteeing quality and compliance.
• Handling breakdowns and coordinating repairs during garage hours.
• Managing stock and parts - ordering, raising PO numbers, and keeping KPI sheets up to date.
• Conducting quality checks on inspections and repairs.
• Maintaining workshop standards - cleanliness, equipment calibration, and PPE compliance.
• Overseeing service paperwork and defect logs with precision.
