We're looking for an experienced Workplace Investigations Specialist to join our HR team and lead complex workplace investigations across our growing organisation. How You'll Make an Impact- Lead high quality workplace investigations relating to colleague conduct, safeguarding concerns, grievances, complaints, protected disclosures, bullying and harassment allegations, and other employee relations matters.
- Conduct fair, thorough and impartial investigations that uphold natural justice principles and organisational values.
- Gather, assess and analyse evidence including witness statements, documentation, attendance records, digital communications and other relevant information.
- Interview colleagues and stakeholders professionally, sensitively and objectively, including in emotionally complex situations.
- Produce detailed, evidence-based investigation reports with clear factual findings and conclusions.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and HR colleagues on investigation processes and procedural requirements.
- Identify procedural, compliance and safeguarding risks and escalate appropriately where required.
- Support the continuous improvement of investigation processes, documentation standards and employee relations practices across the organisation.
- Help foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, respect and child safety throughout Tigers Childcare.
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing employee relations investigations and complex workplace cases.
- Proven experience independently conducting workplace investigations from initiation through to conclusion.
- Strong knowledge of disciplinary, grievance and employee relations processes.
- Excellent investigation, interviewing and report writing skills.
- Ability to assess evidence objectively and reach balanced, evidence-based findings.
- Strong understanding of procedural fairness and natural justice principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to Tigers Childcare locations as required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple active investigations simultaneously.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- CIPD qualification or relevant third-level qualification in HR, Employment Law, Psychology, Criminology or a related discipline.
- Formal workplace investigation training or certification.
- Experience within childcare, education, healthcare or another regulated environment.
- Experience managing safeguarding or child protection related investigations.
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- Understanding of trauma-informed approaches within workplace investigations.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and professional excellence.

- €50,000 - €55,000 (pro rata) depending on experience, plus travel expenses and benefits package.
