Workforce Lead -.*MUST HAVE NHS EXPERIENCE*

Rate: Up to £380 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London - Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Contract: Initial contract until 31st March 2027, with a strong possibility of extension

We are currently seeking an experienced Workforce Manager/Recruitment & Mobilisation Lead to support a major workforce mobilisation programme within a large public sector organisation.

This is a delivery-critical opportunity where you will take ownership of recruitment coordination, onboarding and workforce mobilisation, helping establish and manage the organisation's growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage prioritised recruitment and workforce plans.

• Work closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, selection processes and timelines.

• Coordinate external recruitment partners and resolve delivery challenges.

• Oversee vacancies from attraction through to offer, pre-employment checks and start dates.

• Own onboarding processes, mobilisation trackers and induction coordination.

• Ensure compliance with employment checks and safer recruitment standards.

Essential Experience:

• Significant NHS recruitment, resourcing or workforce services experience.

• Strong understanding of NHS recruitment processes, employment checks and safer recruitment.

• Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns and outsourced recruitment providers.

• Strong workforce planning, onboarding and mobilisation experience.

• Experience with recruitment metrics, reporting and stakeholder management.

• Knowledge of ESR and NHS Jobs would be advantageous.
