Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Security Architect to lead the design and governance of ERP security architecture within a complex enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for defining, implementing, and assuring secure Workday security models aligned to organisational policy, regulatory requirements, and best practice.

This is a hybrid role based in London, offered as an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end Workday security architecture (HCM / Financials as applicable)
• Define and implement role-based security models, domain security policies, and business process security policies
• Lead security design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
• Ensure ERP security architecture aligns with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements
• Conduct security impact assessments for system changes and enhancements
• Support audit, risk, and compliance activities including documentation and remediation planning
• Provide governance and oversight across Workday security configuration and integrations
• Collaborate with IAM, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure integration patterns

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Workday Security Architect in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in ERP security architecture (essential)
• Deep understanding of Workday security framework (roles, domains, business process security policies, segregation of duties)
• Experience designing secure access models for large, complex organisations
• Strong knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and provide clear security design documentation

Mandatory Requirements

• Must be eligible for SC (Security Check) Clearance
• Available for hybrid working in London

Desirable

• Experience in public sector or regulated environments
• Workday Financials security experience
• Experience supporting security audits or regulatory reviews
