OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Workday HCM Consultant to lead and support end-to-end implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise, hands on configuration experience, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Workday HCM implementations and system enhancements
- Configure and support key Workday modules, including:
- Core HCM
- Absence
- Compensation
- Talent & Performance
- Recruitment (desirable)
- Conduct client workshops to gather and analyse business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional Workday solutions
- Prepare and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
- Support data migration, integrations, and testing activities
- Provide guidance on best practices and process optimisation
- Collaborate with technical, integration, and reporting teams
- Mentor and support junior consultants where required
- Minimum 5+ years of Workday HCM implementation experience
- Proven track record of delivering 2-3 full lifecycle Workday implementations
- Strong functional configuration expertise in Workday HCM
Experience with:
- Business Process Framework (BPF)
- Security configuration
- Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working with HR teams and business leadership
- Ability to work in agile and fast paced environments
- Experience working within Public Sector or highly regulated environments
- Understanding of UK HR regulations and policies
- Experience with additional Workday modules such as Recruitment
- Workday HCM Certification (active or previously held)
- Eligible for Security Clearance (SC)
