Role: Workday Functional Consultant (Financials)

Location: Hybrid working - North-East England

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + benefits

A well-established organisation is looking for a Workday Functional Consultant to support and optimise their recently implemented Workday Financials platform.

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit team where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving core finance processes.

What you'll be doing

• Owning and configuring key Workday Financials areas across General Ledger, Journals, Banking, Projects & Allocations
• Supporting month-end close
• Maintaining finance structures (Chart of Accounts, cost centres, etc.)
• Acting as a go-to for GL issues and troubleshooting
• Working closely with Finance, Product, and Tech teams
• Supporting testing, releases, and continuous improvements

What they're looking for

• Proven, hands on experience with Workday Financials
• Strong understanding of accounting principles & journal processing
• Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
• Workday Financials certification (ideal)
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team
