Workday Adaptive Planning

We are looking for an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to support system administration, reporting, and integration activities within a finance and data environment.

This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working with system configuration, reporting, and data integrations, while supporting both finance and data teams in the effective use of the platform.

Location: Lisbon (minimum 3 days onsite, 1-2 days remote)

Role Overview:

As a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the client's Adaptive Planning environment. You will work closely with finance and data teams to ensure the platform is correctly configured, reporting needs are met, and integrations with other data platforms are functioning effectively.

This position requires someone who can quickly understand an existing Adaptive implementation, perform configuration changes, and support reporting and integration needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the integration between Workday Adaptive Planning and Qlik / BigQuery, ensuring budget and planning data can be extracted and structured effectively.
• Understand the current Adaptive Planning implementation and perform configuration updates where required.
• Modify or create Dimensions and Attributes within Adaptive Planning to support evolving business needs.
• Build and enhance reports and data extracts based on finance and business requirements.
• Translate finance and operational needs into clear and structured reporting outputs.
• Support the review and implementation of an updated cost centre structure within Adaptive.
• Provide system administration and configuration support to ensure the platform runs efficiently.

Required Profile:

• 2-7+ years of experience with Workday, with strong exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Experience working in a system administration or configuration-focused role within Adaptive Planning.
• Strong experience in reporting and data extraction within Adaptive Planning.
• Understanding of data integrations and data structures related to financial planning systems.
• Ability to quickly understand an existing environment and work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with finance and technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with Qlik and/or BigQuery.
• Experience supporting finance planning, budgeting, or cost centre structures.
• Previous experience working in data-driven or analytics environments.
