Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking for a role where your work can make a real difference?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Work Placement Administrator to join our Work Experience Team based at Stamford College. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting students, employers and colleagues to ensure work placements are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with compliance requirements.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play a key role in managing placement records, maintaining databases, coordinating student support processes and helping students access valuable industry experience that supports their future career ambitions.
What you'll be doing as an administrator:
- Maintaining accurate employer, student and placement records across work placement systems and databases.
- Processing placement documentation and ensuring all required compliance checks are completed and recorded.
- Monitoring placement activity, tracking student progress and producing reports to support team objectives.
- Administering financial support and bursary funding for eligible students in accordance with funding regulations.
- Coordinating DBS applications, verifying documentation and updating clearance statuses.
- Responding to enquiries from employers, students and staff, providing professional and efficient customer service.
- Supporting departmental administration, meetings, record keeping and audit requirements.
We would love you to have:
- Experience in an administrative or customer-focused environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information.
