Star Actuarial is representing a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and technical leader to maintain effective Line 2 oversight of the Group's with-profits funds and investment risks. In this diverse and highly visible role, you will also support the wider team on overseeing financial risks on the Pensions and Savings business and customer investments. In addition, you will have the opportunity to shape the future business strategy by providing thought leadership on emerging risks, including ESG, that affect customer investments and with-profits funds.

With investment strategy and ALM for with-profits funds experience, the successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of with-profits products, regulations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective Line 2 oversight of the Group's with-profits funds and investment risks.
• Support the wider team on overseeing financial risks on the Pensions and Savings business and customer investments.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging risks (including ESG) that affect customer investments and with-profits funds to shape future business strategy.
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities with sound professional judgment.

Qualifications

• Experience with investment strategy and ALM for with-profits funds.
