Job Title: Senior Windows System Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer with solid Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise and a strong background in customer-centric or commerce-driven environments.

You'll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our hybrid infrastructure while supporting business-critical systems.
This is a 3-month contract with high potential for extension based on performance and ongoing project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support and improve GCP cloud infrastructure, including Compute Engine, IAM, networking, and storage.
• Develop and enhance automation processes using PowerShell, Terraform, or other tools.
• Ensure high system availability and performance, especially during peak business periods.
• Implement and monitor security best practices aligned with retail compliance standards (e.g. PCI-DSS).
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT security, network engineers, and business analysts.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures.

Profile Requirements:
Must-Haves:

• 5+ years in a Windows System Engineering role.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and core network services.
• Experience in a customer-centric or commerce-driven environment
• Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Terraform).
• English fluency (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Professional GCP certification (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect or SysOps).
• Working knowledge of ITIL and change management processes.
• French and/or Dutch language skills.
• Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
