Windows Endpoint Platform Engineer

Windows Endpoint platform Engineer - 3 months + - Full time - Remote - Start August

For our international client, we are looking for an experienced Windows endpoint platform Engineer.

Your main task is to support the client in designing and maintaining as well as engineering and operating the Windows endpoint platform.

Experience with Windows 11, MS Intune and EntraID are a must have.

Tasks:

* Design and maintain, engineer and operate the Windows endpoint platform

* Operate and continuously improve modern device management

* Translate project outcomes into stable BAU operations, measurable controls, clear documentation and repeatable service processes

* Intune modernisation

* Windows 11 rollout

* WUfB operationalisation

* Driver management

* Configuration cleanup

* Policy/script governance

* DaaS alignment

* Vulnerability and patch management integration

* Driver and firmware management

* Implement and maintain device compliance, endpoint security

* Troubleshooting

Experience required:
* Strong project experience with Windows Endpoints/Workplace services (3 years +)

* Experience as a platform Engineer

* Strong project experience with Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID device concepts, update rings, compliance policies, endpoint security policies and assignment/group logic

* Experience with Windows Update for Business

* Good understanding of driver and firmware management, device readiness, hardware life cycle considerations and Windows 11 compatibility requirements

* Hands-on experience with PowerShell Scripting

* Working knowledge of security controls

* Project experience in international customers

* Preferably: project experience in the manufacturing environment

* Fluency in English
