We are recruiting for two roles (FTC until 31 August 2027) aGrade 6, Widening Participation Officer and a Grade 5, Outreach Support Officerrole.

About the Roles:

Both roles play a key part in inspiring and informingsecondary school students about their future education options, includinguniversity and apprenticeships. By delivering a range of presentations andworkshops you†ll enthusiastically inform and engage young people to think aboutand plan their futures.

As a Widening Participation Officer (WPO) you'll projectmanage, plan and deliver a wide range of activities, events and presentationsboth in local schools and on campus. These include everything fromsubject-specific enrichment sessions and hands-on campus experiences totailored information, advice and guidance (IAG) on educational pathways andcareers.

If you're someone who thrives on working directly with youngpeople, enjoys planning and delivering events, and believes in the power ofeducation to transform lives, this is your chance to be part of a team thatworks to break down barriers and improve access to education.

You'll work flexibly, with time spent in schools, on campus,and working from home. Access to a vehicle is important due to the nature ofthe role and equipment that needs to be taken to schools and colleges todeliver the sessions.

The salaryrange shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annualinflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptionalcircumstances.
