Job Title: Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

Location: Caerphilly, South Wales

Salary: £92.59 per day minimum

Employment Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We are seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support young learners across various schools in Caerphilly. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, supporting pupils' development and fostering inclusive learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across KS3.
• Providing support for pupils, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil assessments.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and the wider school community.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh (spoken and written).
• 3 months experience working with children or young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, proactivity, and willingness to travel across multiple school sites.

Mandatory Compliance

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
