Aspire People are recruiting Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Monmouth and the wider South Wales area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while using your Welsh language skills daily.

The Role

• Support pupils through the medium of Welsh on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
• Help pupils develop their language skills, confidence, and independence
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and Welsh-speaking learning environment

Requirements

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
