Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Wellbeing Specialist to support employee mental health through prevention, education, and early intervention. This role combines mental health, coaching, training, and hands-on engagement to build resilience, reduce stigma, and provide meaningful support to teams working with high-stress or sensitive content.


Role Details

Location: Onsite, Lisbon metropolitan area

Schedule: 8-hour onsite shifts


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual wellbeing sessions using brief intervention approaches, including CBT, third-wave modalities, and coaching techniques
  • Assess and manage risk, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
  • Facilitate peer-support discussions to help teams navigate a range of challenges
  • Promote self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth among employees
  • Lead educational workshops focused on essential life skills and coping strategies
  • Champion initiatives that reduce stigma around seeking psychological support
  • Refer individuals to appropriate internal or external support resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with established guidelines
  • Ensure full compliance by completing all required ethics and compliance training
  • Deliver training sessions on personal and professional development topics as needed


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology
  • At least 3 years of proven experience providing mental health support to adults
  • Training in brief intervention approaches and/or crisis intervention
  • Accreditation with the Portuguese Psychological Association
  • Membership in a Portuguese psychotherapeutic association
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
