Wellbeing Hub Counsellor (Bank)

Purpose of the role

To work as part of an early help Mental Health Hub team delivering confidential and non-judgmental humanistic counselling to young people aged 11-25 years. To support the service by working flexibly to meet the needs of service users and contribute to the smooth running of the Mental Health Hub.

Essential criteria

• Current membership of BACP or equivalent professional register.
• In person position, must be able to travel to our Blackburn Wellbeing Hub.

Key responsibilities

Deliver confidential and supportive counselling to young people aged 11-25 years.

Work flexibly to meet the needs of service users.

Support the smooth running of the Mental Health Hub.

Contract and location

• Contract: Bank.
• Location: Brook Wellbeing Hub, Blackburn, Lancashire.
• Salary: £16.52 per hour.
• Hours: Bank hours only.
• Closing date: 11/05/2026.
