DMWS is an international charity that has been providing medical welfare support to the military community for over 80 years. Our services are available to veterans, reservists, tri service serving personnel and their families/carers. Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of people in the Armed Forces Community? Do you have experience in providing support to others? We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team, and compassionate.
As a DMWS Welfare Officer providing health and wellbeing support in the area, you will support families in Devon who may be struggling with separation challenges during and after service life. You will help families manage the unique challenges of long and short term separations and provide emotional and practical welfare support.
This role is part time 21 hours over three days one of which will be a Friday.
Benefits- 30 days a year annual leave plus public holidays (pro rated for part time employees).
