Welcome Manager Band 1

Summary

We're looking for someone with a gift for helping everyone to feel welcome to join us as a Welcome Manager across Coleton Fishacre, Overbecks and our coastal car parks across South Devon from Kingswear to Wembury, leading our small but vital welcome team.

Salary: £27,612 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours/ working pattern: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

What it's like to work here You'll lead and manage our team of welcome and service assistants and volunteers. You'll be responsible for making sure that day-to-day operations run smoothly in the all-important welcome area at the pay for entry properties of Coleton Fishacre and Overbecks, as well as our manned car parks at South Milton Sands and Wembury. What you'll be doing

You'll inspire and care for your team, encouraging them to give the highest standards of service and to help grow our charitable income. You and your team will be focused on helping everyone you meet to have their best possible day, whatever it takes.

You'll be using good judgement and decision making to lead from the front, in line with National Trust guidelines, values and policies.

You'll regularly act as duty manager for Coleton Fishacre and occasionally Overbecks, with specific responsibilities including safeguarding, cash and tills, fire, security and evacuation. You'll be the main point of contact for staff, volunteers and visitors in case of emergency, enquiries or complaints.
