Weekend Library Assistant: Customer & IT Help

Wiltshire Council's Melksham Library is looking for a Saturday Assistant to help customers, locate books, provide IT support and assist with shelving and displays. The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided, and hybrid onsite working arrangements apply.

We offer a pro rata salary of £25,614-£26,016, for 4 hours per week, with an interview date the week of 21st September 2026. This is a friendly library team supporting wellbeing through reading.
