Responsibilities as a Website Designer

• Create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts through design and development.
• Maintain and update the company's website, guaranteeing current, precise, and captivating content.
• Optimize website designs for seamless user experiences across mobile and desktop platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to fuse digital marketing strategies seamlessly into web design.
• Manage and implement website tools and features like contact forms, blogs, and customer portals.
• Uphold website security by integrating best practices and keeping abreast of the latest technologies.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of website functionality across various browsers and devices.
• Monitor website traffic, analyse user engagement metrics, and provide performance reports for actionable insights.
• Coordinate with content creators to ensure visual layouts complement written content effectively.
• Remain abreast of web design trends and advancements to continually enhance the website.

Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in website design with a robust portfolio showcasing past accomplishments.
• Adept in Paid Media with demonstrable knowledge.
• Proficient understanding of technical SEO.
• Skilled in utilizing web design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and WordPress.
• Profound understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Exceptional visual design abilities coupled with a keen awareness of user-system interaction.
• Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
• Preferably holds a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

Location: Southwick

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum
