Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) at Vestd

At Vestd, we prioritise equality, diversity, and inclusion. We're committed to building a respectful, inclusive, and diverse team. Trust is one of our core values; with that comes a commitment to fairness and transparency. We want to be open about our EDI efforts.

Research shows that while men are likely to apply when they meet 60% of a job's requirements, women and individuals from underrepresented groups often apply only when they meet every criterion.

We understand the value of transferable skills and the unique perspectives that diversity brings. That's why we encourage applications from candidates with unique strengths and experiences.

If you need any adjustments or support with your application, please let us know in your application or throughout the process.

The role

The Vestd website is one of our most important growth assets - and we're looking for someone to treat it like one. This is not a maintenance role. You'll own the site as a revenue channel: defining what gets built, running experiments that move pipeline metrics, and using AI tooling to ship faster and learn more quickly than a traditional team could.

You'll sit within Marketing and will operate with high autonomy, working closely with the Growth Marketing Manager and supporting our five business units.

The brief is simple: increase the website's contribution to revenue, continuously.

This is a technical role at heart. Strong front end fundamentals, a rigorous approach to conversion optimisation, and a genuine instinct for user experience are the foundations. The AI angle accelerates everything - it doesn't replace the craft.

The primary responsibilities of this role
  • The website growth roadmap - prioritised against pipeline and acquisition goals, not a backlog of requests.
  • Conversion optimisation across all key journeys: homepage, product pages, pricing, trial and demo flows.
  • Experimentation velocity - hypothesis to result cycles, with AI tooling compressing the time between idea and insight.
  • Page design and build from concept to launch, working in our CMS (HubSpot) with strong HTML, CSS and JS fundamentals.
  • Technical page architecture that supports both search and AI visibility - schema markup, information hierarchy, structured data.
  • Website performance: Core Web Vitals, technical health, load speed.
  • Data and insight: GA4, heatmaps, session data - turning signals into decisions.
  • CMS architecture and scalability - a site that's fast to update and consistent in quality.
Essential elements for this role
  • Proven CRO and conversion improvement track record
  • Proficient with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Expert level knowledge of HubSpot CMS / CRM
  • Understanding of AI tooling (agentic web development, MPC)
  • Solid UX / UI / design instincts
  • Testing rigour and experimentation methodology
  • Comfortable owning a growth channel with high autonomy
  • Strong cross functional communicator
  • Data led decision making - GA4, attribution, funnel analysis
  • High bar for quality and clarity in UX and messaging
  • Remote first mindset
Nice to have
  • B2B SaaS / fintech background
  • Technical SEO and LLM optimisation
  • Schema markup and structured data
  • Framer / Webflow experience
  • API / webhook experience
  • Startup/scaleup experience
  • Knowledge of shares and share schemes
  • Experience working in a remote team
How you work with AI

We're not looking for someone who dabbles with AI. We want someone who has fundamentally reconfigured how they work around it - using it to compress delivery cycles and run more experiments with less friction.

  • Generating and pressure testing CRO hypotheses
  • Briefing and iterating page variants at speed
  • Automating routine audits and performance checks
  • Building lightweight interactive experiences that would previously have required a separate developer resource.
What we'll give you

You won't be working in isolation. You'll have access to a freelance budget covering design, copy and development support - so you can pull in the right resource for the right job rather than being expected to do everything yourself.

You'll also have genuine input into our tech stack and tooling decisions. The person in this role will have a seat at that table and real influence over the outcome.

We take key person risk seriously. The freelance support model is partly about that: ensuring the growth channel doesn't stop when someone's on holiday.

How we'll measure success
  • Pipeline contribution - demo requests, sign ups, conversion to opportunities
  • Conversion rate improvement across key journeys, quarter on quarter
  • Experimentation velocity - hypotheses tested, wins shipped, learnings documented
  • Website performance - Core Web Vitals, load speed, UX quality
  • Page delivery speed and CMS scalability
  • Quality and clarity of reporting - decisions visible, not buried
Culture Fit
  • Thrives in a startup environment, ready to tackle diverse challenges with enthusiasm
  • Adaptable - open to taking on responsibilities beyond the defined role as needed
  • Passionate about contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Embraces technology to improve processes and drive efficiency
Why work at Vestd?
  • This job remote first, although attendance is required twice yearly at our in person get togethers
  • A flexible environment to help you achieve the best work/life balance
  • Equity, of course! (After the qualifying period)
  • Monthly recognition scheme, where we celebrate our folk
  • Support with home working equipment
  • A personal training and development budget to keep your career and professional growth on track
  • Private medical insurance (after the qualifying period)
  • Team retreats are held twice a year. They can include an overnight stay and focus on fun and team cohesion
  • Great team ethos, connect through regular team and company socials.
  • 25 days annual leave plus one extra day per year of service (up to five days)
  • Employer contribution pension scheme (after the qualifying period)
