Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber - Croydon

A valuable opportunity has arisen within a well known water hygiene company, known for their expert provision of water treatment, hygiene and legionella services to a national client base. They are looking for an experienced and committed Water Hygiene Engineer/Plumber to join the team based in or around the Croydon area. The successful candidate will have a strong water treatment background and experience in carrying out water hygiene duties in line with ACOP L8 guidelines, alongside remedial plumbing work. Consideration will be given to applications from Dartford, Bromley, Rochester, Sevenoaks and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience in carrying out water hygiene duties in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Will ideally hold Plumbing qualifications NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Experience in delivering remedial plumbing duties to a varied site base.
• Must possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Proficient IT skills including competency using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
• Undertaking any remedial legionella/plumbing work.
• Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, cooling towers, etc.
• Repair, replace and servicing of TMVs, showerheads, etc.
• Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems.
• Maintain and install dosing systems.
• Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
• Comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
