About The Role

Working Pattern

13:15-2100 Monday to Thursday and Friday

As a Waste Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant management of waste on site. This role involves servicing all external waste recycling points regularly, keeping these areas tidy and litter-free, and correctly segregating and storing waste. You will also ensure that all legislative documentation is completed accurately and perform regular waste compliance checks throughout the waste compound and site. Additionally, you will maintain OCS and site equipment by liaising with rental suppliers.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sorting through waste and selecting items that can be recycled
  • Separating any timber, glass, metal, paper, cardboard, and electrical waste
  • Make Managers aware of any items believed to be hazardous is reported
  • Cleaning and organising the warehouse area during each shift

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Able to perform physical working and manual handling
  • A background in cleaning would be advantageous
