Warehouse/Forklift Operative

Location: Corston, near Malmesbury, SN16

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 15:30pm

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team supporting the storage and distribution of premium home furnishings, lighting fixtures, and hardware products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance, Bendi, Pivot Steer, and Flexi forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock throughout the warehousePicking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Goods-in and stock replenishment duties
• Conducting routine equipment checks
• Maintaining accurate stock control and warehouse records
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required

Essential Requirements

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance, Bendi, Pivot Steer and/or Flexi forklift licences
• Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own transport is essential due to the location of the site
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
