WHAT YOU DO

  • Leading and supervising a dedicated team of FLT drivers and warehouse operatives ensures that daily operational targets are consistently met.
  • Efficient allocation of tasks across the team will guarantee the safe and optimal utilisation of all forklift equipment.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high standards of health and safety, stock accuracy, and housekeeping goes hand-in-hand with providing on-the-job coaching and performance support.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional departments allows for a seamless workflow and the swift resolution of any operational issues.
  • Overseeing shift handovers, conducting routine FLT checks, and completing all necessary documentation or reports forms a vital part of your routine.
  • Identifying potential areas for process optimisation enables you to actively contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Possession of a valid FLT licence is essential for this position.
  • Proven experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
  • Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and make swift, effective operational decisions.
  • Solid understanding of standard health and safety procedures within a modern warehouse setting.
  • Flexible, reliable, and deeply committed to fostering overall team success.
