Warehouse Supervisor

Overview of the Role

Warehouse Supervisor, Permanent Contract, Client Site, Dublin. The Warehouse Supervisor will act as the lead operative within the State Warehouse team and will support the safe, secure and efficient handling, movement, storage, inventory control and preparation of seized, detained and other goods held by Revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of seized goods.
• Oversee manual handling of sealed bags, boxes, and other materials.
• Manage loading and unloading of boxes, crates, and pallets.
• Operate and supervise the safe operation of Aisle Master forklifts.
• Manage stock inventory and check in/check out of goods using Revenue's in house inventory management system.
• Start and move motor vehicles, including articulated and rigid trucks.
• Operate shredding equipment for secure destruction of goods.
• Ensure compliance with site security, confidentiality, health and safety protocols and procedures.
• Report to Revenue's Contract Manager on operational matters.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all warehouse activities.
• Ensure secure transportation and storage of goods in custody.
• Support preparation of goods for disposal, destruction or transport.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Current valid forklift driving licence.
• Training in manual handling techniques.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory management system use.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a security conscious environment.

Desirable

• Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driving experience.
• CE licence for onsite work.
