Warehouse Operator

In the position as a Warehouse Operator you are working together with your colleagues to realize our commitment to our customers for excellent service and to meet our customers Service Level Agreements (SLA). You need to ensure that customer orders are executed and processed in the shortest possible time to the required standard and are shipped/dispatched via the correct carriers to ensure timely delivery.

You will be receiving, sorting and storing goods in our warehouse. Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule. Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and/or through computer. You will work according to the S tandard O peration P rocedures (SOP), follow the applicable rules and regulations and contribute to safe working environment.

You will work from our location in Eindhoven and report to the Warehouse Team Leader.

Key tasks and responsibilities are:

Inbound Process

• Welcome truck drivers, clients and inform concerned department accordingly.
• Receiving and inspecting incoming goods on quality, quantity and required documents.
• Reviewing goods received against invoices for discrepancies.
• Unloading deliveries from trucks
• Unpackaging goods.
• Sorting incoming goods.
• Moving pallets using a forklift truck (training provided if necessary)

Replenishment and Stock control

• Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area.
• Assisting with stock cycle count on regular basis.

Outbound Process

• Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensuring all products are free from damage and report if any discrepancies.
• Printing packing lists, and other required documents.
• Completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Receiving and inspecting outgoing goods.
• Assisting with the loading of trucks

Health & Safety

• Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards
• Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.

Other tasks

• Communicate with Team leaders to identify issues with orders and damaged shipments.
• Using our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reports
• Follow internal, external (when needed) and on the job training.
• Take initiatives and identify improvements to be made in standard operation procedures
• Other reasonable activities as per the request of the Warehouse Team leader and/or Operations Manager.
• Perform light administrative tasks assigned by the team leaders.
• Other relevant warehouse functions might be added and assigned in future.
