Gap Personnel is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the team at our client location in Corby (NN17).

About the Role

The warehouse operative role will include career development opportunities to train on HLOP, with temporary to permanent options for the right candidates.

During the first couple of weeks, the focus will be on handballing before transitioning to operating the FLT.

This is a FULL TIME role, offering rotational or fixed shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• To undertake warehouse duties as trained
• Ensure a flow of stock through the distribution centre from receipt to dispatch
• Receive, pick, pack & load products
• Operate lifting equipment, manual or mechanical as trained
• Work to company key performance standards
• Adhere to health & safety standards as trained
• Play an active part in creating a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Have previous warehouse experience
• Be able to manage busy goods in a receiving role
• Able to work shifts reliably
• Must be willing to do heavy lifting - up to 25kg

Contract & Hours

Contract Type: Temporary - ongoing

Salary: £13.98 - £14.87 per hour

Hours of work as a full time Warehouse Operative:

• 2 weekly rotational or fixed shift (16:00-00:00)
• Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 then 16:00-00:00
