Warehouse Operative / Stores Person

Axminster, Devon (Site Based)

Contract Role Immediate Start Monday-Friday

Immediate requirement for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy engineering and logistics depot in Axminster. This is a hands on warehouse role supporting goods in/out, shipping, stock control, and general depot operations within a fast paced engineering environment.

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Loading/unloading trucks and lorries using pump trucks and warehouse equipment.
• Shipping and booking goods out through internal systems.
• Goods in duties, including booking stock in and putting parts away.
• Inventory counts, stock control, and ERP / MRP system updates.
• General warehouse housekeeping and depot support.

• Previous warehouse/stores experience.
• Experience within logistics, goods in/out, or engineering stores.
• ERP / MRP system experience is beneficial.
• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential (full in house training available).
• Strong organisational skills and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Available to start ASAP.
