gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 1 Warehouse Operative - Reach Truck Operative for a temp to perm contract for growing food import business supplying both food ingredients to the food manufacturing industry and finished products to the food service sector. The Client handles a wide range of food products and are expanding their operations as they moved into a new, larger warehouse in Evesham.

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Warehouse Operative who must have also experience and valid Reach Truck licence - to join their warehouse team. This is a physically demanding, hands on role and would suit someone who enjoys an active working environment and is flexible as the business continues to grow

Key Responsibilities

• Emptying handball containers safely and efficiently
• Picking customer orders, including both full pallet and mixed pallet orders
• Scanning inventory with RF equipment
• Dispatching customer orders accurately and on time
• Moving stock within the warehouse and maintaining stock rotation
• Ensuring health & safety and food hygiene standards are always followed
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

About You

• Reach truck FLT licenses
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks throughout the day as will be asked on occasional to come off from the truck and perform manual pick
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment
• Willing to be flexible with working hours as shift patterns will be determined by business demand following our move to the new site
