VP Project Manager - Internal Consulting - Banking

A leading global investment bank is seeking a VP Project Manager to join its group-wide transformation function in London. This role sits at the centre of enterprise change, delivering high-impact strategic growth initiatives across the investment bank. You will lead complex, cross functional programmes end-to end, partnering with senior stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Operations and Technology to drive delivery across multiple jurisdictions.

You will take full ownership of strategic change initiatives from initial scoping and business case development through execution and implementation. Operating across regions, you will ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to strategic objectives, while maintaining strong governance and transparency.

This position requires excellent stakeholder management skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to influence senior leadership within a global banking matrix.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
• Manage full project lifecycle including planning, governance, execution and implementation
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams
• Operate across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory and operational alignment
• Provide clear reporting and maintain robust programme governance

Key Requirements

• Proven track record delivering complex transformation programmes within investment banking or capital markets
• Strong end-to-end enterprise project management experience
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Multi-jurisdiction delivery experience, ideally across EMEA
• Consultancy or internal consulting background advantageous
