Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team collaborates with developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to innovate, conceptualize, design and pilot new capabilities across the investment lifecycle. As a Product Manager, you will help develop product vision and lead day to day execution of the roadmap, exploring, evaluating, prioritizing strategic areas while ensuring tactical delivery needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Define and own the product story and roadmap for Aladdin's high scale OEMS trading capabilities.
  • Lead Product Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ceremonies, including maintenance of roadmaps, requirements, specifications, and release notes.
  • Serve as a resource to internal and external clients about our capabilities in the context of their business.
  • Be a market expert - stay ahead of industry, market, and technology trends to build opportunities for BlackRock and better serve clients.
  • Be metric driven. Track and measure usage and feedback to inform product strategy.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience engaging end users, developers, and executives.
  • Ability to present complex technical ideas to technical and non technical stakeholders and execute against them.
  • Reputation for building trusting relationships and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and planning skills; ability to work and deliver results independently.
Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, trading technology, or financial markets.
  • Hands on comfort using AI tools in daily product work (e.g., prompt based research, summarization, synthesis, draft specifications, competitive scans, workflow mapping, data exploration support) with appropriate judgment and confidentiality.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and data teams to define API contracts, data interfaces, and constraints, and translate those considerations into product requirements and trade offs.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Azure DevOps and Aha! is a plus.

Business

  • Familiarity with market and technology trends across the trading ecosystem.
  • Understanding of front, middle, and back office integration touch points.
  • Strong understanding of an Order Management System.

Functional

  • Understanding of product and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with agile development practices.
  • Proven experience creating product roadmaps, writing business and technical specifications, and delivering product outcomes.
  • Experience interacting with product stakeholders, including end users and software developers.

Leadership

  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience engaging end users, developers, and executives.
  • Ability to present complex technical ideas to technical and non technical stakeholders and execute against them.
  • Track record of building trusting relationships and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations and communicating up and down the organization.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work and deliver results independently.

Our hybrid work model
