Volunteer Trustee - Shape Strategy & Community Impact

Volunteer Trustees Asha Neighbourhood Project Location: Hybrid - Remote with occasional meetings in Leeds Salary: Voluntary (unpaid) Hours: six board meetings per Year of 1-2 hours each

As a Trustee you'll help provide strategic leadership, ensure good governance and support the long-term sustainability of the charity. You'll work alongside a diverse and welcoming group of women on the Board, helping Asha continue to make a lasting difference in the community.

No previous trustee experience is needed; they provide induction and support.

The Project are looking for people with experience in:

• Business or entrepreneurial endeavours
• Finance or accounting
• Fundraising
• Human resources
• Legal services
• Education or health
• Marketing, communications or PR
• Project or programme management
• Strategy and organisational development
• Monitoring, evaluation or data analysis
• Voluntary or community sector experience
• Knowledge of the local community

They particularly welcome applications from women who reflect the diverse communities they serve.

What's Involved?

• Attend six Board meetings a year (in person and online, with one in-person meeting linked to our AGM)
• Help shape the charity's strategy and future direction
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure good governance
• Share your skills and experience to support the organisation
