Volunteer Treasurer - Remote for Scout Group

Responsibilities

• Pay invoices and expenses (sporadically)
• Prepare annual accounts
• Liaise with utilities companies
• Manage standing orders for subs payments

Commitment: around 2 hours per month.

Requirements

• Volunteers aged 18 or over.
• Availability: flexible; can work in the morning, afternoon, or evening on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Hours per session

2 hours per session.

Location

Based in north Manchester but work is online; Remote.

Unit 10, Longfield Centre, Prestwich, Manchester.

Charity

401st Manchester Scout Group meets weekly at our hut, offering adventure, challenges and fun activities for young people aged .

The group is run by a dedicated team of volunteers (all DBS cleared).

The group has been around since 1953 and has grown from strength to strength, even moving online during lockdown!
