Hybrid. We believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.
What you'll doThis role involves supporting Vodafone Business as part of the Business Deals Legal team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality legal advice on a range of initiatives, manage legal risk and ensure compliance with evolving legislation. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is crucial, as is driving continuous improvement in legal processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a qualified lawyer in a leading telco, with an understanding of the sector. They should possess strong stakeholder management skills, commercial acumen and the ability to take ownership of their own caseload and manage legal risk. They will also demonstrate enthusiasm for collaboration within a diverse team. Key performance indicators include timely delivery of legal advice, effective risk management and positive stakeholder feedback.
- You'll provide clear, pragmatic legal advice across a range of projects helping draft and negotiate contracts, supporting bids and tenders, and making sure the legal approach aligns with Vodafone Business's growth, revenue, and transformation goals. You'll also keep things compliant and protect the business from legal and regulatory risks.
- It's all about strong relationships, partnering with Sales, Commercial, Finance, Product, and Delivery teams to give timely, commercially focused advice. You'll help connect the dots across the wider VodafoneThree organisation, encouraging collaboration and ensuring risks are well managed.
- You'll play a key role in identifying and assessing legal risks, using structured frameworks to reduce exposure to financial, regulatory, or reputational issues. Being proactive is key, helping the business stay ahead rather than reacting later.
- You'll contribute to training and share legal know how across the business, while also looking for ways to streamline processes. That includes driving efficiency through simplification, automation, and enabling teams to self serve where possible.
- You'll build and maintain strong relationships outside the business by working with customers, suppliers, external lawyers, and partners to ensure everything supports VodafoneThree's commercial objectives.
- You'll stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes, sharing insights with the wider team and identifying opportunities to improve or adapt. It's about helping the business stay informed, prepared, and ahead of the curve.

- Industry know how - You understand the tech and telecoms world, including the key legal trends shaping it.
- Takes ownership - You pick things up and run with them, keeping work moving forward and using your initiative while knowing when to ask for input.
- Smart with risk - You manage legal risks in a practical, balanced way-helping the business stay protected without slowing down its growth. You're also open to improving processes and using tech to make things more efficient.
- Commercially minded - You get the bigger picture and can weigh legal risks against business opportunities to support smart, strategic decisions.
- Great with people - You build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and handle negotiations confidently both internally and externally.
- Clear thinker and communicator - You break down complex issues, pull out the key insights, and explain things clearly so others can make confident decisions.
