VodafoneThree - Commercial Paralegal

Location: London Speechmark or Newbury + Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Hybrid working approach: The role requires working in the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand the expectations, role and team requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide high quality legal advice across strategic projects, procurement, wholesale and AI, ensuring compliance and protecting commercial integrity.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, deliver aligned and timely legal advice, support cross functional collaboration and help manage risk.
• Support legal risk assessments and apply assurance frameworks to minimise regulatory, financial and reputational exposure.
• Support training, streamline legal processes, promote automation and scalability, and embed best practice across teams.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, customers, group functions, external counsel and commercial partners.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative developments, share knowledge and contribute to legal team learning and positive change.

Who you are

• Legal experience: experience in an in house legal team or commercial contracting team in private practice.
• Industry knowledge: understanding of technology and telecoms sectors with awareness of relevant legal trends.
• Risk management: proactively manages legal risk with appropriate oversight, balancing risk and mitigation to support business targets and enable efficiencies.
• Commercial acumen: able, or able to develop the capability, to balance legal risk with commercial opportunity to support strategic decisions.
• Stakeholder and external engagement: able to manage stakeholders effectively, negotiate well, and build trusted relationships that support alignment and strategic outcomes.
• Analytical and communication skills: applies legal analysis and data to extract key insights and generate pragmatic solutions, communicating clearly and appropriately to diverse audiences.
